Loads of interesting insights into the making of Coupling from the initial casting process to the future for our favourite six-some. A reading must for all Coupling fans. NEW REVIEW SECTION • A review section has been added, but will it be big enough for all the future praise? It currently sports reviews of Richard's current theatre performances of 'The York Realist' and a review of Coupling 2. 9th November 2001 STEVEN MOFFAT INTERVIEW * Stephen Moffat has agreed to an do an interview for this site, which is excellent news and even better still it's going interactive! So all of those Coupling fans and Jeff devotees this is your chance to ask all those niggling questions you have about the series and it's characters (this isn't confined to Jeff questions only). So knock yourselves out, but keep them Coupling orientated. The best will be put to Steven and appear as an interview on this site in a couple of weeks time. OCTOBER 2001 25th October 2001 US FANS DON'T FORGET!!! * BBC America starts showing the new series of Coupling from Friday. Episode one 'The Man with Two Legs' airs on Friday October 26th at 9pm and Saturday October 27th at 1am. Enjoy...It would be impossible not to. RC IN THEATRE - LIVE IN THE UK * Richard will be appearing in The English Touring Theatre's production of 'The York Realist'. There will be a short tour in 2001, taking in Salford and Bristol, then a residency at the Royal Court, London in early 2002. 'OTHELLO' * Richard recorded a new adaptation of Othello in the role of 'Michael Cass'. This adaptation also stars Christopher Eccleston and Eamonn Walker and is currently scheduled to air in the UK on December 23rd. This site sure has seen some development since it was launched back in June with only two galleries! Cruise on over to the galleries section once again to view 23 screenshots of Richard as Trimmer McTavish in 'Sword Of Honour' and the latest episode ('Gotcha') from the new series of Coupling. 7th October 2001 AMERICAN SCREENINGS * US fans the wait is nearly over....Coupling series two comes to BBC America (TV14) this month. Each episode airs twice beginning with episode one, 'The Man With Two Legs' on Friday October 26th at 9pm and Saturday October 27th at 1am * Richard's appearance in 'Hettie Wainthropp Investigates' is also forthcoming on US sands. It airs on December 16th at 3pm ET NEW BIOGRAPHY AND CHATROOM * A new biography charting mainly the acting career of RC has been added to the site. Hopefully some 'harder' facts will be making their appearance shortly. * A new chat room has also been added so you can meet up and do some serious live gossiping, or join in the first ever official chat session (official in the sense that it's an arranged time, not that RC himself will be there) on Sunday November 4th. If you know more about it let me know. 3rd September 2001 COUPLING REVIEW extracted from The Sunday Times (2nd Sept 2001) * "Arriving as part of a wave of thirtysomethings, Coupling tended to be dismissed as another Cold Feet clone and Steven Moffat's scintillating scripts were overlooked. It returns, however, sporting the Silver Rose of Montreux, and with an episode centered on Richard Coyle, the acting revelation (even among an all-star ensemble that includes Jack Davenport) of the first run. Coyle's easily flustered Jeff finds sexual bliss being offered to him on a plate.
